Between semesters I decided to start working on a figure drawing sketchbook after my usual "gettin' motivated" convo with my pal, Wen. So far I've done three sessions in the past week or so and went from doing it for 30 minutes to a full hour. I want to try and keep that up as I think I'm getting better at proportions but also want to work on value studies as well. I'm debating if I should maybe limit the gestures to 30 minutes and then spend a second set of 30 minutes working on actual study or maybe break it up into a two hour session of one hour gestures followed by a break and then an hour of actual study(like measuring and such and ju

Semester almost done

One more bit of homework to do this week and the semester is finally over. I've been planning to get back into doing comics again and while I have a couple of ideas I don't have too much fleshed out just yet. I'm hoping to have at least one really solid page of a short story done by the end of the month at least though. If that's not too wishful of thinking that is. :D

Returned from my trip

I'm finally back after some serious downtime again. I spent three weeks in CT visiting my little brother, then three weeks in Austria visiting my older brother. When I returned to CT my brother wanted me to move in with him and I agreed. So if you haven't seen me around for a while that's pretty much what's been going on for the past two months. Everything's been going really well up here, I love Connecticut, and I'm currently working on the script for a graphic novel (inbetween rushing around trying to find work before I start the new semester)! All in all, great to be back!
